You will not find many web agencies that publish prices.  Of course the final price depends on the nature of the website but we think you have a right to know how the price is calculated.

We use two simple methods to keep prices low: Firstly, our overheads are low. Secondly, our way of working is inherently more efficient and cost effective because everyone involved in the project does what they're best at. The website designer designs, the website developer (that's us) develops, and you type your own words into your own website. You don't pay a graphic designer to change text or struggle with technical issues like browser compatibility.

Notice also that there is no additional cost per page.  You can create as many pages as you need for the same price.

Website setup
$75 per hour

i.e. Converting the graphical mockups created by the designer into a fully functional website.
The setup cost depends on the number of templates and features required.

Standard Subscription
$50 per month

The subscription can be paid monthly or annually in advance.  This includes

• CMS software license
• Technical Support

E-commerce Subscription
$75 per month

The subscription can be paid monthly or annually in advance.  This includes

• Hosting
• CMS software license
• E-commerce software license
• Technical Support

Training
$75 per hour

 A two hour training session is sufficient to teach you how to create and change web pages with the CMS. Training can take place at your premises or the Brown Trout Software office.

Website changes
$75 per hour

You can change your website's contents, but occasionally your website may require structural, functional or technical changes, like adding new features.

Custom software development
$75 per hour

Project meetings, system design, development and testing are all charged at the same hourly rate.  Discounts may be negotiated for larger projects and for applications that may be useful to our other clients.

Additional Domain names
$5 per month

This includes registering a domain name and pointing it to your website. Domain name registration is a highly competitive and automated business. You will find lower prices elsewhere if you are prepared to learn how to register a domain name and redirect it. So this fee is both a registration and management fee.
